A nice season begins today—The season of Lent.
This is a 40 days of celebration of our Redeemer’s grace for partaking the ultimate sacrifice in the name of divine countenance and favor of mankind. This is a sign of spring that it is coming. It is also a time of reflection and penitence leading up to the Easter Sunday celebration. Time for fish fry Fridays in full force until we come to Good Friday. It is so written:
Genesis 3:19: “For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”
