Today’s featured photo of the day! Winter
Here is today’s featured photo. For the rest of winter, I am featuring my collection of frigid photos! Here is a set of photos from a January sunrise at the former Westgate Golf Course which for years was on Ridgeland Avenue between 135th Street and Alan B. Shepard High School in Palos Heights, Illinois! Date – January 1982.
First photo taken with a zoomed in photo with a Vivitar 70-150 zoom lens and a 2x tele-extender zoomed in at 150 mm x 2 or an equivalent of 300 mm, filter=polarizer, Aperture=22 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/1000th second. The sunrise is darker because of the use of the tele-extender, but it is a nice shot!
Photo taken with a Nikon FE camera through a Vivitar 70-150 zoom lens (without the x tele-extender) zoomed in at 150 mm, filter=polarizer, Aperture=22 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/1000th second, loaded with Konica Fast ISO (ASA) 400 Color 135-20 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 4X6″ semi-gloss print.
☼FACT: You lose 2 full f/stops by using a tele-extender, which zooms in twice as much, doubling the capacity of the zoom lens. If you use one, the photo will get that much less raw exposure to light. ☼
See you tomorrow with another cold and frigid photo of the day!!

PHOTO OF THE DAY
This is a really cool picture! They both are.
I love the sunset, pretty.
These are both great. I especially like the one with the snow and trees.
