A Brief History:
Origination: National Technology Day was implemented as a day to honor the invention of the all technology, with a day honors technological achievements that impact our daily lives. Wow! What a world we live in. We cannot take for granted any of the devices we use on a daily basis this technological world we have grown accustomed to living in. Industry is dependent on use of technology, in industries like agriculture, cameras, healthcare, education, entertainment, foodservice, photography, radio, security, video, weather and more. .

Inventions Are The Core of Technology: All the way from the alarm clock, to the latest inventions like satellite radio and Wi-Fi, we have come a long way on the technology age. A lot of inventions, but the past century has shifted from a mechanical, industrial style age, to a way more technological age. Even industry has gone widely technological these days!

The Early Days of the Technology: Inventors worldwide have been notorious for hiding their inventions until a patent is issued, because of the property rights involved. No one wants to do all that work to have someone come by, steal it and undermine their whole process of invention. Technology is yet another example of invented gadget. . .

More Modern Implementation of Technology: The past fifty years have gone from basic technological to extremely complex inventions of technology. Just like the mid-1900’s turned from discoveries to inventions, the  more modern era of tech has really gone into the basic micro-chip. We certainly could not do without this invention these days. Technology and modern living are based on and revolve around technology.

Why The Day? There is no known reason why the day is not May 11^th (the day that anniversary of the Pokhran-II tests. The day is observed to mark the successful nuclear tests in Pokhran), but today, National Technology Day, which is celebrated on January 6^th, recognizes how technology changes the world and looks to the future of technology.
