Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day:
Pale Chicory

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2025 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is Pale Chicory.

Pale Chicory, or the Cichorium Intybus, is an exotic flower that proliferates in areas such as roadsides, streambanks, meadows, fencerows, cultivated fields, and disturbed regions. It blooms from June to October across various regions in North America, as well as in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America. Despite being classified as a roadside weed, Cichorium intybus boasts striking blue flower heads that are quite eye-catching. These flowers are particularly prominent in the morning but tend to close by early afternoon.
