Recap of the Antarctic Partial Solar Eclipse:
On September 21, 2025, the Moon transited in front of the Sun, partially obscuring it and casting a shadow over certain regions of the Southern Hemisphere, which included the South Pacific starting below the equator moving south east of New Zealand, crossing clear over Antarctica, and fizzling in the Southern Ocean, before being able to be seen in South America. This eclipse was not visible from anywhere in the northern hemisphere which included not being visible anywhere from the United States. It was visible from the U.S. Territory of Samoa. Enjoy the eye in the sky view from these satellite imagery videos!
Here are the videos of the September 21st partial solar eclipse in the southern hemisphere.
Happy videos!
