Animal Cookies: In the distant past of cookie-land, the animals were known to stick together in their respective groups. Camels would always be seen with camels, lions with lions, and unicorns with unicorns. Their daily routine remained unchanged, day after day. However, one fateful morning, a volcano erupted, causing a shower of sprinkles to fill the sky and rivers of frosting to flow through the lands. By the following morning, every creature basking under the sun was adorned with polka-dots and radiated a vibrant glow. The animals couldn’t help but find this situation rather peculiar. Nevertheless, they soon discovered that it was also incredibly delightful and scrumptious. The frosted animals quickly formed bonds of friendship, and from that moment onward, cookie-land became an infinitely more enjoyable place. Since then, children have been reveling in the joy of Mother’s Cookies.

Mother’s® Cookies: In 1914, the story began at a newspaper kiosk in Oakland, California. N.M. Wheatley, the newspaper vendor, acquired the rights to a batch of exceptionally tasty homemade cookies from a customer. Interestingly, N.M. decided to name these cookies Mother’s, as a tribute to the newly established holiday, Mother’s Day! The cookies quickly gained popularity and became a sensation. Within a year, N.M. sold his newspaper stand and started producing two thousand cookies daily in a modest bakery. Undoubtedly, these are the beloved and iconic Circus Animal® Cookies we cherish!
