The Hosta Plantain Lilies
Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2025 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the The Hosta Plantain Lilies.
The Hosta Plantain Lilies, or the Hosta Undulata, is an elegant perennial, commonly grown as an ornamental plant in garden borders or as a standout specimen. It is easy to cultivate and produces dense, attractive mounds of vibrant green leaves, which are wavy-edged and frequently adorned with creamy patterns, adding a cheerful touch to shaded spaces. In early to mid-summer, funnel-shaped mauve flowers emerge on arching stems that rise above the foliage, although the main appeal of this Hosta lies in its beautiful leaves…
