The Showbiz Floribunda Rose

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2025 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the The Showbiz Floribunda Rose.

The Showbiz Floribunda Rose, or the Rosa cv.’TANweike’, commonly referred to as the Bernhard Däneke Rose and/or Ingrid Weibull Rose, was developed by Mathias Tantau, Jr. in Germany in 1980. It belongs to the Floribunda class and features medium red blooms that are fully double, consisting of 28 to 30 petals, and are produced in large clusters. The fragrance is mild and sweet, while the plant exhibits a short, bushy growth habit with well-branched stems and glossy, dark green leaves. It is hardy in USDA Zones 6b and above…
