Today was the 58th Anniversary of a massive, then an F4 tornado (original Fujita scale) that did devastating damage in the community of Oak Lawn, IL. The tornado left a 16-mile long path of over 200 yards wide and an unfortunate 33 casualties total, and a loss of over 100 homes (including on of my family members), devastating damage to a high school near the close of a school day on that Friday afternoon–and more. I therefore am providing tips and pointers on being prepared!
