Birds Flying South Before a Major Drop in Temperatures
Here is today’s featured photo presentation of winter weather photos, with today’s presentation near Oak Forest, Illinois of birds flying south before a major drop in temperatures, and they are not making a pit-stop for anything. The birds are very smart! How else can you determine that a sudden drop in temperatures is on the way? They fly sometimes thousands of miles to escape the bitter cold, and when they get mild weather, move back up a bit, because these winter species do not like the warm weather either. A lot of flying if you were a bird! These photos were taken the day before an over 50° drop in temperatures of below zero bitterly cold weather was on the way while it was still in the +40’s°F. Note the beautiful blue skies to the south, and the greying skies to the north! Date – January 11, 2024
Photo taken with a Samsung Galaxy A71 with the factory Quad camera Standard-wide: 64 MP 1/1.72-inch sensor with 0.8µm pixels and 26 mm-equivalent f/1.8 PDAF lens Ultra-wide: 12 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens.
Another fine snowy view photograph to follow including the great scenic beauty of winter weather. It is going to be quite a winter, so join me all the way until the Valentine’s Day flowers!
