Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day:
Marie Pavie Rose
Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2024 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Marie Pavie Rose.
The Marie Pavie Rose, or the Rosa Rubiginosa ‘Marie Pavie’ of the Polyantha family are a great early to mid-summer sight to make it right. This beautiful and adaptable rose can be used as a border, in pots, as a specimen, or for low hedges. Its charming pale pink buds open into creamy white, semi-double flowers that have a lovely fragrance. ‘Marie Pavie’ is bound to be a favorite among gardeners. It blooms almost all the time, filling the garden with its delightful scent on warm days. The leaves are a deep, vibrant green, and the thornless stems make ‘Marie Pavie’ an excellent choice for landscaping:
