Today’s featured photo of the day! The feature is: Architecture – The Buildings of Chicago, Illinois – South Michigan Avenue, With Grant Park in the Foreground
Here is today’s featured photo presentation of South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, With Grant Park in the Foreground as taken from then Lake Shore Drive. To let the winter month REALLY shine, I am featuring fine photos of great architecture every week, so we can continue to honor the brighter side of life. Part 5 features the beauty of The Buildings of Chicago, Illinois. circa 2010’s on a dreary fall day. This flashback shot shows the 800 South block of Michigan Avenue with the Essex and the Hilton Towers near the intersection of East Eighth Street and South Michigan Avenue, but distinctly shows what Chicago looked like in 2016, before the 808 South Michigan Avenue building (a luxury apartment complex called Sentral/Essex on the Park, which has 56 floors and 479 units) was there, which was built in 2019. Date – October 27, 2016.
Photo taken with a Alcatel Pop Astro digital camera through its factory lens– a 5 MP, filter=Not Possible, Aperture=Unpublished=Factory, shutter-speed Unpublished=Factory. Date – November – 2016.
Another fine Chicago photograph to follow very soon. Part 5 – The Buildings of Chicago, Illinois. It is going to be quite a season, so join me ALL winter to bring back to the nice spirit!
