Today’s featured photo of the day! The feature is: Architecture – The Buildings of Chicago, Illinois – Guaranteed Rate Field

Here is today’s featured photo presentation of beautiful architecture, although this is very wide architecture. To let the winter month REALLY shine, I am featuring fine photos of great architecture every week, so we can continue to honor the brighter side of life. Part 5 features the beauty of The Buildings of Chicago, Illinois. This photo is of Guaranteed Rate Field, the home of the Chicago White Sox, as shown circa 2016 on a sunny late fall day. the field has gone through several names since the new park was built opening on April 18, 1991. Originally known as New Comiskey Parkthe Illinois General Assembly passed legislation to build the park across the street from old Comiskey Park three years earlier, with both parks intact so that no down time was experienced in the transition. I visited the old park several countless times, last time early 1920’s, and the new park one time in 1993. The stands were so vertically built even I was afraid of them heights! They improved the grade to not be so vertal since those days. Date – November 21, 2016.IMG_20161121_142209_.jpgPhotos taken with a Alcatel Pop Astro digital camera through its factory lens– a 5 MP, filter=Not Possible, Aperture=Unpublished=Factory, shutter-speed Unpublished=Factory. Date – November – 2016.

Another fine Chicago photograph to follow very soon. Part 5 – The Buildings of Chicago, Illinois. It is going to be quite a season, so join me ALL winter to bring back to the nice spirit!
