Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day:
The Yarrow

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2025 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Yarrow.

The Yarrow, or the Achillea Millefolium, is a perennial herb with clusters of small, typically white or yellow, flowers. They thrive in well-drained soil and prefers sunny areas, and is known for its drought tolerance once established. The Yarrow is often used in gardens for its aesthetic appeal and can also be found in rain gardens. Some varieties are also used in traditional medicine or for their essential oils. Yarrow seeds require cold stratification and direct sunlight for germination, and can be planted in warm soil from September to April.
