The 2024 Summer Olympics!!!
The Summer Olympics for 2024 start tomorrow, July 26th to August 11th, 2024! The Stade de France, the largest stadium in the country, will be converted into the Olympic Stadium for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, marking a significant transformation after thirty years of hosting France’s major sports events. Situated in Saint-Denis, the Stade de France was created by architects Macary, Zublena, Regembal, and Costantini. I honor all the persons who have been training for years can compete; their continued dedication, and the Olympics bring their time in the spotlight to celebrate their sportsmanship. The best of luck to all involved. . .
Happy 2024 Summer Olympics ! ! !

A Brief History on the Olympics:
Founded in Ancient Times: Their creation was inspired by the ancient Olympic Games that were held in Olympia, Greece starting in the 8th century B.C. into the 4th century A.D.
More Recent Founding: Baron Pierre de Coubertin founded the International Olympic Committee in the year 1894, leading to the creation of the first modern Games, which were held in Athens in the year 1896.

Where: All around the world, almost every country in the world has some type of participation. Usually not by government within the country, but an Olympic committee that is set inside each participating country.
When: Every 4 years on even years. Most recently the Winter Olympics are offset by two years from the Summer Olympics by a year and one-half. The four-year interval between the Ancient Games editions were named an “Olympiad”. The 1994 Winter Olympics, held in Norway, were the year that the first Winter Games to be held in a different year from the Summer Games, changing them from being all held just six months apart thereafter. Only a two year period was placed between the Winter Olympics upon placement of the offset.
This Year’s Event: It is The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially “The Games of the XXXIII Olympiad”, branded as “Paris 2024”, held from July 26th to August 11th in Paris, France at the Stade de France in Olympic Village, Paris, France. More than 10,000 athletes are set to sail down the Seine on Friday in what is expected to be the most ambitious Olympic opening ceremony ever attempted. The 2024 Olympics, starting this week in Paris, aim to “revolutionize” the Games while remaining inclusive to a wide audience. To mark the official beginning of the Olympics, last held in Paris exactly a century ago, organizers have meticulously planned a dynamic, distinctly French event. Over one billion viewers worldwide are anticipated to watch. Here is all you need to know about the ceremony, which, if successful, will make its mark in Olympic history.
