Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2025 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the The Early Sunflower.
The The Early Sunflower, or the Heliopsis Helianthoides, Summer in the prairie features many yellow flowers, with Heliopsis often being the first to bloom. These flowers can be found in various habitats, from wetlands to dry hillsides along the way. Heliopsis helianthoides, also known as Early Sunflower or False Sunflower, is part of the Aster family and can produce seeds from both its disk and ray flowers. It blooms heavily during summer on thin stems and is easy to grow, popular in Europe, but is a short-lived perennial…
