Because of the beauty from the eye in the sky. . .I am featuring a .GIF & video of the whole loop of Atlantic Hurricane Rafael, which started out 3° north of Colón, Colón Province, Panama in the southern central Caribbean Sea at 12°N & 80°W, affecting the areas of Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Cuba. The forecasts for the new storm mainly affect Artemisa, Pinar del Río, and Isla de la Juventud, with possible risks to infrastructure and housing in the capital. Damage to agriculture, livelihoods, and electrical systems is expected during a challenging energy situation. After Hurricane Rafael hit western and central Cuba, there was significant damage to homes and services, although no human losses have been reported. Recovery efforts are underway, focusing on basic services and debris removal, particularly in Artemisa, where 10 electricity towers were destroyed and access is hindered by trees, power lines, flooding, and overflowing rivers. The northern section of cloud cover could be seen from southern Florida. The storm moved slowly on a meandering path northward to slightly northwest crossing Cuba into the Gulf of Mexico, and wandered until it turned eastward, quickly fizzling about a degree or two until 27°N & 92°W ,where the clouds in the storm were sheared off from the westerly flow, projected into the tip of Louisiana, but producing no damage reports, as featured all on one loop on .GIPHY.
