This grandiose book, The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan (340 pages, paperback) is among the best of best books I have read in my life. I originally read the book in one of my hardest times, but the book is so stacked and packed with great details about a hard time in the United States history. The book is written in tiers in the stance as if written through the survivors of the Dust Bowl, moving from the various regions affected by the Dust Bowl with the wrath it brought. It is formatted in excellent writing structure. Action packed as written, the book The Worst Hard Time is a must read for any history buff, weather follower, or agricultural guru. Because this book is so great, the day I joined Goodreads, I added this book as my first and foremost read. Therefore, I give the full five stars on the following categories:
- Readability. A book’s degree of readability is the base layer of my reviewer’s pyramid, and the foundation for any good story.
