Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day: Japanese Lipstick Maple Gable Glory
Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Japanese Lipstick Maple Gable Glory.
The Japanese Lipstick Maple Gable Glory, also known as the April Splendour, or the Acer Rubrum (PNI 0268), is a highly refined variety that is fast growing, that grows to the size of 40 to 50 ft. tall, 30 to 40 ft. wide. Blooming a shade of lipstick red in the late month of April to Early May, the Japanese Lipstick Maple Gable Glory grows best in average, medium to wet, well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade. They also do have more red in the autumn months with some great fall colors. The Japanese Lipstick Maple Gable Glory is tolerant of a wide range of soils, but it prefers moist, with slightly acid conditions.

I always love Japanese Maples! The colors of the leaves, and they way they seem like hands…
