Today’s featured photo of the day! The feature is: Architecture – The Skies of Chicago, Illinois – An Aerial View
Here is today’s featured photo presentation of yet even another presentation of the bird’s eye view from John Hancock Observatory at sunset in a view of the area south to southeast from the building, prominently into the area direct center to the shores of Lake Michigan on the South Shore, including the Chicago River and Aon Center. This is a vintage photo that is dated, si if you were to visit the 875 N. Michigan Avenue Observatory today, you would see just about twice as many buildings as you are able to view these days. At sunset, it is harder to see the City of Chicago, but also very beautiful indeed as you look at the horizon opposite the sunset, with its pink hue. This is an excellent place to arrange a photo shoot–and among the best staples that has grown on the City of Chicago to make it it’s very own over the various times. Days like this make for a great summer sunset that is so enchanting, and a great place to take a vacation in! Date – July 1981.
