When I moved to Aurora in 1994, the first year was the first time I saw this was beautiful gem. This gives a sense of peace and serenity to all! Lehnertz Avenue becomes Lehnertz Circle as you cross Ohio Street, and does a complete 360° circle, and on both sides of this awesome street are Christmas scenes from “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz–a combination of comic strips, book sets, movies and television series. I remember Peanuts being a staple to see throughout the various seasons, a special for most every season and every holiday. The great thing about this series is that in all cases, it remains one of the great series that you can leave children watch and not worry about turning your head for a few minutes and being compromised with laden, controversial material. Peanuts remains one of the true “G” rated shows of all time! The series have not been seen on regular television since 2020, when Apple TV+ purchased the rights to air.
