Today’s featured photo of the day! The feature is: Architecture – Vintage Architecture
Here is today’s featured photos. To let the spring months shine, I am featuring fine photos of great architecture. Part 2 features the beauty of Vintage Architecture, so we can continue to honor the brighter side of life this year. So, here is a very nice vintage photo of the The Carbide & Carbon Building back in 1982! Architecture maintained properly from that era holds up very well while maintained on an ongoing basis. How beautiful this featured building is at its location at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Wacker Place, just a block south of the DuSable Bridge on Michigan Avenue, and a couple blocks north of Millennium Park! The building was finished in 1929 and designed by sons of Daniel Burnham, and almost impossible to miss because of its unique appearance at such a popular location. How beautiful!!
Another fine Architectural photograph to follow very soon: Feature – Part 2: Vintage Architecture!!
