Today’s featured photo! The feature is: Florida

With the NASA Program back in full gear again, I am sharing today’s featured photo. So, right now I am featuring photos of NASA in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Here is a photo of the Service Entrance at the Vehicle Assembly Building while on the bus tour through NASA in Cape Canaveral. Nice! Date – March 1997.

Florida_NASA-Vehicle Assembly Building Service Entrance

Photo taken through the bus window with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 26 mm lens, filter=polarizer, Aperture=11 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/30th second, loaded with Fujicolor 400 Color 135 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 3½x5″ semi-gloss print.

TIP: It is very tricky taking a photo into the sun, back-lit, so in this digital age take many photos with as many settings as possible to get the right shot. Sometimes the meter will lie to you about getting the proper exposure, and usually that means dialing up for MORE exposure so you do not get a poorly lit photo.

NOTE: The bus tour is a truly endearing experience of which I recommend to all visiting NASA. I was truly amazed to find out the fact that there was a breed of Eagle ready to make the trip for the season, who’s summer residence was Minnesota. What a trek, I mean only a 1,621 mile commute twice a year!

Another fine NASA photograph to follow very soon of the great State of Florida!!
