Today’s featured photo of the day! Obscure Darkroom Magic

Here is today’s featured photo. I am featuring an extra special event of featuring a reflection of my favorite part of being in the darkroom…making art out of a regular photo! Here is a set of photos of a great summertime sunset with a tree in the foreground. A true show for infrared! Date – June 1981.

Photo taken with tripod mounted Nikon EM camera through a Vivitar 70-150 zoom lens zoomed in at 135 mm, filter=red #25 filter, Aperture=22 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/8th second,  loaded with Kodak High Speed Infrared HIE 135-20 Black & White Film processed using Kodak D-76 Chemicals using a black colored universal tank with metal reel. Enlargement processed 100% negative size onto 3½x5″ smooth semi-gloss image enlargement paper using Dektol/Stop Bath/Fixer chemistry.
