Today’s featured photo of the day! The BONUS feature is: California

Here is today’s featured photo. The December event is being announced right now…”12 Days of Christmas”…Twelve nice shots Christmas related photos! The event will start on Friday, December 13th, so come join us every day!! Meanwhile I am continuing my featuring  photos from California in the interim. My focus to Orange County continues with yet another fine twilight photo out into Orange County up towards Los Angeles County, but with the smog, it is impossible to see anything but that “on fire” sunset from the window of the Disneyland Hotel. A beautiful sight, any day! Date – November 1991.

Photo taken supported on the building window with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 26 mm lens, filter=NONE, Aperture=5.6 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/8th second, loaded with Fujicolor 400 Color 135 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 4X6″ semi-gloss print.

☼TIP: Polarizers make nighttime photography harder unless you have a tripod, and then through the window presents other problems, so play use by ear. In my case with this photo, I decided against losing an f/stop using the polarizer. ☼
